How long should a roof repair last?

Updated
Reading Time 1 minute

The lifespan of any given roofing repair is difficult to determine. Certain types and repair styles are more likely to hold up longer than others, but there’s no blanket answer for how many years it will give you before deteriorating. When in doubt, ask your contractor if the type they’re proposing can withstand anywhere close to what the existing material on your rooftop could’ve done by itself had it not been damaged or worn out yet.
